STAR test results for Sonoma County, Spring 2000

California established the Standardized Testing And Reporting (STAR) program in 1997 to assess student learning in the state�s public schools. The most recent STAR test was administered in Spring 1999 using the multiple-choice Stanford Achievement Test series (Stanford 9). All students in grades 2 through 11 were tested. Students in grades 2-8 were tested in reading, mathematics, language, and spelling. Grades 9-11 were tested in reading, mathematics, language, science, and history/social science.

The scores indicate the percentage of students in the nation who scored the same or lower than the students tested in the district. The chart compiles test results for all students, including Limited English Proficient (LEP) students.
